Somerville Intermediate School

Somerville Intermediate is a really cool school!! I go there along with all of my friends!! Why I like it so much because it's got really nice teachers and principal. The best part about Somerville Intermediate is Tech. Tech is a whole lot of activities you do with your class like Dance & Drama, Science, Graphics & Design, Hard materials, (wood and stuff) ICT, Food, Art and Music. I think there all really cool but my fav one so far has got to be Graphics and Design!!

I think Somerville is an awesome school!!!

My Whangamata Holiday!!

See that picture on the left there? That's Whangamata beach. My family goes there every summer and it's a lot of fun!! We normally stay there for around ten days. Since there's a beach we go swimming there every day!! The surf is really good there!! The only part I don't like about the beach is that when we eat our lunch there the sand gets into our lunch and it tastes disgusting and crunchy!! YUCK!!

Also at Whangamata there are native bush walks you can go on!! And of course there's great fishing. You can fish off the wharf or go on a fishing boat and catch fish way out at sea!! I haven't done it before but I've heard it's really cool!!

Overall I think Whangamata is a great place to go on a summer holiday and hope to keep going there for years to come!!
